READY FOR SUMMER
As we enter the last couple weeks of the semester summer break is approaching fast and I am quite excited. Being able to unwind and take a long break off of school will be a nice change of pace. I am super pumped to start my Internship as well with Prep Baseball Report. I was fortunate to work with them last summer so being able to return to a company I am familiar with as well as take more of a leadership role is super exciting.
Being able spend more time with family and friend is always a positive that I try not to take for granted. One thing I hope to do this summer is travel more. I haven't been on vacation since pre covid and taking some time this summer to travel and expand my horizons is a personal goal of mine. Some other goals of mine are to learn how to cook, to hike more, and to read more. These are skills/activities I have wanted to do for a while but have never gotten up and pursued any of them. Overall I want this summer to be fun, relaxing but extremely productive at the same time.
Until then it's time to grind out the rest of the semester and get these finals taken care of. Although we have only two weeks left of school it feels like there is still so much work to do between final exams, last minute projects and massive end of the semester papers. I hope everyone finishes the semester strong and has an amazing summer!
Hey Ryan! It sounds like you have a great summer ahead of you, Finally getting away from school for a little bit will be amazing! Wishing you the best of luck on your finals in two week!
ReplyDeleteHi Ryan! It is awesome that you have the opportunity to internship with such a great company. I am struggling to figure out how I will travel this summer with my internship. I will be working 40 hours a week and I feel like I will only be able to take weekend trips to places close to my town. I love traveling and hiking so much though! I recommend checking out Cuyahoga Valley south of Cleveland, Ohio. It is a great hiking location.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck on your finals and I hope you enjoy your internship this Summer!
