END OF THE YEAR EXCITEMENT

    As April begins I think we can all agree on the fact that we are excited for the year to be over. Personally I feel like April is the start of the home stretch. Finals are starting to creep up, final projects are beginning, final papers are being started or procrastinated, and scheduling classes for the next fall semester. This time of the year is both very exciting with the warmer weather and summer break  in the near future but also very stressful due to all of the large assignments being given out at one time. 

    One aspect of the ONU schedule that annoys me and a large amount of the student population is how much later we get out of school compared to most other colleges around Ohio. Most of these other schools get out in late April to early May but we get done at the tail end of May due to our J term program which other schools do not have. The other part of this that annoys students is the fact that we start school the same week as most other colleges so we're just here for a longer period than most.

    However, Summer is on its way and I can't fully express my excitement. This has been a long and fun semester but having some long time off of school and getting into my internship and other professional opportunities will be a great change of pace and I hope to create a bunch of fun memories this summer!
