A SPRING BREAK MUCH NEEDED

Although the weather here in Ohio was not the definition of spring weather, the break was what mattered. Being able to put school on the back end and put time with friends and family up front was a great and much needed change. Overall, the break was quite simple. I stayed at home, hung out with family, worked, worked out and that's about it. Even though it was a simple break it was the perfect kind for me outside of wishing it was a bit longer.

One of the downsides to spring break is the fact that it's just long enough to get comfortable with the feeling of not having school work. Which is a nice feeling until you get thrown back into the middle of a semester of full time classes and pick up right where you left off which can be a bit shocking after not working on anything school related for a week and a half prior. With this week half way through I have gotten back into the swing of things but it has been somewhat of a struggle.

With only two months left of school and the weather getting slightly warmer I am counting down the days until summer break. So far this has been a very eventful and fun year and I hope the last part stays that way. As the year begins to wind down and wrap up I hope that I am still able to make many long lasting memories within these next 60 days.

  1. There's nothing better than forgetting about school for a week. Getting thrown right back into school work after spring break is definitely the worst part, though.

  2. Cade Higgins: Good stuff, Ryan. The break is nice while it lasts but everyone knows the toughest part is coming back. It'll go by fast though.

  3. Great to hear! I relaxed and caught up with friends and family I hadn't seen in a while. I wish it was a longer break, but beggars can't be choosers.
