HOW TO USE INSTAGRAM TO YOUR ADVANTAGE
This week's chapter does a great job of showing how to use Instagram clearly and effectively to your advantage. This chapter has been very similar to the last couple where it deep dives into a specific topic that can be very beneficial to businesses of any size. Once again this is a great way for smaller businesses to excel above their larger competition. There were many important takeaways I felt were most important to dive into that any one person can learn from.
One of the biggest things to understand is Instagram's overall audience. The large part of the audience is between 13 - 29 years old which is a young audience. With that being said it is important to realize if your business fits that audience. If that age group fits your overall target market then Instagram is an extremely valuable tool to have at your disposal. Just like all other social media platforms, being able to reach the largest audience possible can transform a business.
The other large takeaway is understanding how to properly set up and format an Instagram post to attract the largest amount of engagement possible. It is important for each post to have a purpose and a clear point. It is also important to have a variety of posts so your content doesn't become bland and predictable. Spacing out posts is also an important line to walk so you don't overwhelm your audience but also being consistent so you are not forgotten.
Being able to use Instagram as a marketing and mass communication tool can provide immense benefits to businesses of all sizes. The sooner you learn to maximize the potential Instagram has the more benefits you will see.
Hey Ryan! I absolutely agree that Instagram as a marketing platform can have immense benefits to a business gaining huge amounts of benefits.
ReplyDeleteChase Coburn: Ryan, I think Instagram is the fastest way to grow a following. Over all other platforms, I feel like more people are using Instagram than Twitter or Facebook.
