SPRING SEMESTER KICKOFF

    After a fantastic and much needed break I am finally back in the great small town of Ada Ohio. Although it was hard to leave my girlfriend and family at home, I am excited to get back to business at ONU. I can't wait to start my new classes including principles of social media which will be my introduction to the social media minor I had added on before the semester break. This semester brings a lot of excitement between new classes, great weather, and fun activities. 

    Overall I have a ton of exciting plans this semester. I have officially started my first social media oriented job. I work for a company based out of New York called NYXL. This company owns a professional Overwatch team called the New York Excelsior. My job is to make two Tik Tok a week for the Excelsior Tik Tok page. This is an amazing opportunity that I am super passionate about and I can't wait to see where it takes me. Along with my new job I am hoping to find an internship for this upcoming summer that goes with my sport management major. My main focus for this semester along with passing my classes is expanding and diversifying my resume. I hope to create a one of a kind impressive resume I am proud of and I hope to achieve that by the end of this semester. On another note I also hope to create new friends and many amazing memories this semester both in and outside of the classroom. Overall I think this semester holds a ton of great potential and it is up to me to maximize what has been given to me. 

    Although the semester has just started I can already tell this is going to be a special one with tons of fun, learning opportunities and much more. With three semesters under my belt it is truly wild to see how fast college is flying by. It seems like yesterday I was moving in to Maggot Hall and meeting my first ever roommate. This just shows how important it is to cherish every moment while in college and try to make the most of every day possible.
